I am so grateful for God leading us to doula Cat to support us in the birth of our second child.  She had a loving, strong and peaceful presence all throughout the birth process.  Her wisdom and skills helped us to have the confidence to labor at home, to manage contractions, and to push when I was ready.  My birth experience was so redemptive and guided by the Lord and Cat played such a big part in this.  Having an unmedicated birth for our son was one of the most intense and amazing experiences of my life and I’m so grateful for God leading us to doula Cat to help to make it possible.  I would highly recommend her to anyone.

She was the best and all that we could have hoped for and more! She was present in the preparation, and gave helpful advice and guidance as we developed our birth plan; and advocated for us and our birth plan in and out of the hospital. She gave us space to ask for what we needed and did whatever she could to help. That included: laboring with me at home while my husband loaded the car, giving helpful encouragement and advice through every stage of labor, and making sure I was fed and energized throughout labor so I had the strength to make it to the finish.

 

And through it all, she was calm and peaceful. That was huge for us, especially while laboring and pushing. During the craziest and potentially stressful experience of my life, she was calm and collected and brought a sense of peace and confidence to help me give birth and give birth well.
